In itemit, collections help you organise and categorise your assets efficiently. Whether you need to add an item to a new collection, remove it from an existing one, or adjust its categorisation, itemit makes it easy to update your asset collections.
1. From the item profile, simply select the item and click on the "+" icon next to Collections.
2. If you're intending to create a new collection, click "New" and input the collection name then click "Save".
3. If you’d like to change the collection an item belongs to, you can use the search bar to find the collection add the item to it then click "Save"
3. To update the item's collections, simply remove any unwanted collection names and click 'Save' to apply the changes.
4. itemit will show you that the collection for that item has been updated

Additionally, if you'd like to update the name of a collection, please follow the steps below:
From the itemit web portal click the "Collections" tab, select the edit name button located at right side.
Change the renamed collections and click "Save"
