Keeping track of your assets efficiently is crucial for effective asset management. All assets and equipment are considered as unique assets in itemit, except when you're using itemit's inventory feature. itemit's inventory feature allows you to log the quantity of each asset type you have, ensuring they are accounted for and in the correct location.
Steps to follow:
From the “Items” tab, select an asset
Once selected, click on “Open Full Profile” in the bottom right corner
On the item profile, go to "Inventory" located on the right side of the Item Profile
Key in your Item Quantity and set your preferred option for unit of measure
When you are done, click “Save”
The inventory will be updated, and a pop-up will show that you have successfully updated that asset
