Public Profiles is a unique feature in itemit that allows anyone to scan an asset and report issues without requiring access to the system.
Steps to follow:
From the itemit web portal, click "Settings" and toggle public profiles to "On"
Please note that this feature is turned off by default and requires the use of itemit QR codes.
2. With public profiles enabled, anyone can scan your itemit tags using their phone’s camera. This makes it easy for individuals to report any issues related to public assets or locations, ensuring a more efficient and streamlined process for everyone.
3. Click "Manage public description" on the settings page. Here, you can also choose the Public Profile Description you add to all assets
